YES, WE DO FIRE BATON TOO!

My daughter started doing Fire Baton this year. She LOVES it! One thing to keep in mind is that the baton is much heavier and of course there is the scorching hot flames flying around your twirlers face...not to mention the one spins and tosses they do. It's not for the faint of heart! BUT IT'S SO FUN!!

I've been told many times there is something wrong with me...lol..but I'm the Mom who's like, "Fire Baton, sure, let's do it!" I know it's a big deal, I know it's putting my daughter in danger but I trust her to make a thought through decision and if it's the wrong one then I figure she'll realize that after the first practice. Of course, at the end of the first practice she was covered in black soot burns all over her arms and legs and she was in love! Now my problem is keeping the cabinet stocked with the Fire Mixture so she can practice at home. And then there's the whole, "Will she catch the house on fire" concerns or "Did we get enough rain to not light up the yard", you know, normal stuff. Ahh...the exciting lives we lead.

Honestly, I'm just thankful that our competition team offers Fire Baton in the first place because it's a great added skill for my daughter to learn and makes her a more diverse twirler.
